🍜 Saihua Ramen Yatai

📝 Introduction

The original shop of Tenri Ramen, where you can taste the spicy broth and a generous amount of vegetables.

📖 Details

The origin store of "Tenri Ramen," characterized by a spicy soup base made with garlic soy sauce, paired with a generous amount of cabbage and other vegetables. It started as a small stall in Tenri City, Nara Prefecture in 1968, and although there are now 13 branches in the Kinki region, this is the only one still operating in the form of a stall. Ramen enjoyed under the starry sky and night breeze is particularly delicious. The specialty of Saihō Ramen is its secret homemade soy sauce, combined with a garlic-infused broth, and finally enhanced with spiciness from "chili sauce" imported directly from Sichuan Province, China. The recipe for the homemade soy sauce, crafted by the first generation, has been passed down exclusively, known only to the current president of the second generation. The soy sauce used daily in all branches is personally made by the president. Ramen portions are available in extra large, large, and small sizes, and you can also add toppings like chashu, soft-boiled eggs, and raw eggs according to your preference.
