This quintessential Japanese dessert, red bean soup, is said to have originated from the Izumo region. The Daifuku red beans sourced from local contracted farms are of superior quality in terms of flavor, size, and thin skin. The ingredients, including the glutinous rice flour made from glutinous rice from Okuizumo Town, are all carefully selected top-quality items. Even the sea salt used to enhance the sweet red bean soup is a rare salt produced in the Uraumi area near Izumo Taisha.
