🗺️ Sakura Hometown Square

📝 Introduction

Tulips and sunflowers, along with other seasonal flowers, bloom in the park where you can enjoy flower viewing while taking a break.

📖 Details

Sakura Home Town Square is a garden square that welcomes visitors with seasonal flowers such as tulips in spring, sunflowers in summer, and cosmos in autumn. At the center of the square stands a windmill that operates on wind power, serving as a symbolic landmark of the square. This windmill is built to Dutch specifications, with a traditional structure that adjusts the angle and position of the blades according to wind strength and direction. Visitors can freely tour the interior large gears and witness firsthand how the windmill operates to draw water. Next to the windmill, there is a Dutch-style garden. The site features well-known seasonal flowers and plants that bloom vibrantly throughout the year. Visitors can feel the gentle breeze blowing from Inba Marsh while enjoying a stroll along the well-maintained pathways, immersing themselves in an atmosphere reminiscent of traveling in the Netherlands. Additionally, the park includes a "Share Garden," divided into 24 areas, where local citizens are responsible for planting flowers, weeding, and watering, all working together to create a beautiful garden. During festivals such as Christmas and Hinamatsuri, the park is adorned with colorful decorations, enhancing the festive atmosphere surrounded by flowers.

⭐ Highlights
