It also features practice areas and rental facilities for accommodation, attracting not only tourists but also many dancers and artists.
Within the park, there is an "Outdoor Stage" that can accommodate up to 5,000 people, equipped with grassy seating areas, creating an open and inviting performance space. In addition to concerts, various artistic performances such as theater, dance, and other art-related shows can be enjoyed outdoors.
Furthermore, there are monthly workshops for pottery, textiles, cloisonné, glass, metalwork, woodworking, and printmaking, as well as hands-on experiences and group workshops that do not require reservations. Additionally, there are craft workshops and a museum built from the former residence of the renowned author connected to Sapporo, Takeo Arishima (有島武郎). Please note that the old residence of Takeo Arishima and the Sapporo Art Park outdoor museum are closed during the winter season.
