About Science and Technology Museum (Chiyoda, Tokyo)
There are various hands-on science museums with fun experiments.
Details
A science museum where you can experience and learn about the wonders and joys of technology around you. The exhibition space is located within the facilities of Bujinmaru Park, consisting of four floors and around 20 themed exhibition rooms. There are many interactive exhibits that move when touched, experimental performances, and hands-on classrooms for experiential activities.
The themes within the exhibition rooms include a rich variety of topics such as automobiles, motorcycles, manufacturing, electricity, energy, information, and climate. The exhibition methods are also carefully designed; for example, the "FOREST" exhibition space intentionally does not provide descriptions of the exhibits to encourage visitors to create and discover on their own.
A notable feature of the museum is the abundance of experiential activities, and original experimental equipment is used for performance demonstrations every day. The performance activities vary depending on the day of the week, so it is recommended to check the official website before visiting.
