This tranquil and leisurely landscape can be considered a quintessential representation of Japan's original scenery. Visitors can appreciate the golden waves of rice in the autumn and the snowy vistas in winter, and on clear days, the majestic Hakusan mountain range can be seen in the distance. The café offers a variety of light meals made from local ingredients. There are hamburgers made with A5 grade Hida beef and Yamagata pork, as well as gohei-mochi paired with a special miso sauce, and unique rice flour sticks shaped like the characters for "Go" and "Village" (合 and 鄉) from Shirakawa-go. Dining is available on the spacious terrace (except in inclement weather).
