Located to the southwest of Shodoshima, the "Angel's Path" (天使の散歩道) emerges from the sea only twice a day during low tide, connecting four islands with sandy trails. It is said that couples who walk hand in hand along this path will find happiness in the future. This area is also a popular filming location for many movies and TV dramas, making it a favored tourist attraction. At the forefront, the "Promised Hill Observation Deck" on Benten Island offers a stunning view of the entire Angel's Path. As a representative of Japan's romantic spots, known as a "Lover's Sanctuary," couples can ring a bell together or tie their wishes on an ema (絵馬). Additionally, Nakayoshi Island and Koyoshi Island are private lands, while Ooyoshi Island is an international camping site, and entry without permission is prohibited, so please be particularly cautious. By the way, near the tourist information center and shop in front of the Angel's Path, there is a special "Angel Mailbox" that stamps outgoing mail with a unique postmark. There is also a bench decorated in the shape of angel wings, which is a popular photo spot.
