🎎 Special Tour of the Old Campus of Fengxiang Elementary School

The William Merrell Vories Architectural Office has been active throughout Japan since around 1908, centered in Omihachiman City, Shiga Prefecture. The old school building complex of Toyokawa Elementary School is one of the works of the Vories Architectural Office. Among Vories' more than 1,000 works, public elementary school buildings are quite rare. This complex is equipped with the most advanced facilities of its time, such as reinforced concrete structures, long and wide corridors, and a separate library. The special guided tour of the old school building complex of Toyokawa Elementary School includes visiting this building, known as the "First Elementary School in the Orient," under the guidance of a local tour guide from Toyokawa Town.
