A popular local restaurant featured in the Michelin Guide. The restaurant offers dishes primarily made with Yamato traditional vegetables and various local vegetable varieties from both domestic and international sources. Yamato traditional vegetables refer to about 40 types of vegetables certified by Nara Prefecture, particularly those with a deep historical significance, of which around 20 varieties are currently certified. The Yamato traditional vegetables used in this restaurant are mostly grown by the owner, Masayuki Miura, and his wife. They conduct research and cultivation to preserve traditional varieties in the mountainous area near their restaurant, "Kiyosumi no Sato Awa," located in the suburbs of Nara City. Inside the restaurant, which is a renovated 140-year-old machiya, uniquely shaped vegetables are casually displayed, piquing interest even before the meal begins. Both lunch and dinner are served as set meals. With visually appealing and lavish presentations, each bite bursts with fresh sweetness and rich flavors, gradually immersing guests in the world of Yamato traditional vegetables. Guests can also interact with the manager, Daisuke Arakawa, to learn various interesting facts about the vegetables. Although the restaurant operates on a reservation-only basis, making a reservation can be challenging, the prices are quite reasonable.

Only set meals are offered, allowing you to truly appreciate the charm of vegetables. The manager's passionate talks about vegetables are also worth listening to. The uniquely shaped vegetables are photogenic from any angle.
