🎨 Restaurant Gallery
📝 Introduction
A place where you can enjoy Hakata local cuisine, including offal hot pot and Kyushu delicacies.
📖 Details
This restaurant is located in Daimyo and is a specialty shop for "Motsunabe" (内臓鍋) called "Motsunabe Tashu (もつ鍋 田しゅう)", which has 10 branches in Fukuoka. It is run by a chef who trained at a well-known "Motsunabe" establishment in Fukuoka, which explains why the restaurant's "Motsunabe" and carefully selected Hakata delicacies are so beloved. The Motsunabe is uniquely made with domestically sourced beef small intestines, hand-selected by the chef.
There are four flavors of Motsunabe, with the most popular being the "Miso Motsunabe," made with four types of miso. Its rich and savory taste is irresistible. Other options include the "Soy Sauce Motsunabe," which highlights the natural flavors of the ingredients, the "Wafu Dashi Motsunabe," filled with the aroma of broth, and the spicy and flavorful "Tashu Nabe." For the finishing dishes, congee, assorted noodles, or Hakata ramen are recommended. If you order the Miso Motsunabe or Tashu Nabe, the cheese risotto is a must-try dish to end your meal. Additionally, there are local specialties like vinegared offal and mentaiko, as well as à la carte dishes such as fresh horse meat shipped directly from Kumamoto, herb mackerel, and braised beef cheeks.
The Hakata branch is just a one-minute walk from Hakata Station, making it an excellent location and the only branch that serves Motsunabe for lunch. The lunch set includes fresh horse meat from Kumamoto and sesame mackerel made from herb mackerel. You can enjoy delicious meals at any time of the day, and dining alone is also perfectly fine.
