You can order seasonal ingredients at the popular restaurant "Tempura Obanzai Ishikawa (天ぷらおばんざいいしかわ)" which serves 京番菜 (Kyoto home-style dishes) and seasonal tempura. On the first floor, a large bowl filled with 京番菜 is displayed, allowing you to choose between izakaya dishes or tempura based on your mood for the day. There is also a tasting menu available, which requires a reservation one day in advance. The tempura ingredients include carefully selected items such as white sweetfish and golden eye snapper, as well as seasonal vegetables, which you can order according to your preferences. The ingredients change with the seasons, allowing you to taste the pure flavors of seasonal produce. On the second floor, there is a private room that accommodates only one group of customers per day, providing a family party atmosphere. To use the second-floor private room, you must first order "three obanzai dishes," "two daily specials," and "a mixed sashimi platter," after which you can freely order various dishes.

The two signature dishes of the restaurant are 京番菜 (Kyobanchai) and 天婦羅 (Tempura) made with seasonal ingredients. There are casual dining seats on the first floor and private rooms suitable for groups on the second floor. If you make a reservation one day in advance, a tasting menu can be provided (with the requirement of ordering one drink).
