🍜 Tobetsu Pork Bowl Charcoal Grilled TONTAN

📝 Introduction

Enjoy a generous tasting of the delicious local dish, Butadon, from Tokachi, Hokkaido.

📖 Details

Located in the central area of the Togoshi Ginza shopping street, "TONTAN Charcoal Grilled Butadon" offers authentic local cuisine from Hokkaido, specifically the "Butadon" (pork bowl). The signature dish is the "Butadon Take" (710 yen), featuring pork coated in a special homemade sauce that perfectly complements the white rice. The pork is meticulously grilled over charcoal and served atop the rice, creating an exquisite culinary experience. To ensure the dish retains its deliciousness, a lid is carefully placed over it before serving. Additionally, after 5 PM, they also offer "Mongolian BBQ" (530 yen per serving), sourced from the "Goiichiya" meat shop in Tokachi. The vegetables, such as bean sprouts and cabbage, soak up the juices from the tender and mildly flavored lamb, making it a perfect match with white rice, beer, or Tokachi wine. It's delightful to enjoy authentic Mongolian BBQ at such an affordable price.
