Tsukairaku Park, located in Tsu City, Mie Prefecture, is a beautiful park that combines nature and history. This area was once the site of the villa of the 11th lord of the Tsu domain. The garden, designed using the natural terrain, offers charming scenery that changes with the seasons.
In spring, thousands of Somei Yoshino cherry trees and 800 azaleas bloom, covering the entire park in a sea of pink and purple flowers. During the "Tsukairaku Park Spring Festival," held from late March to mid-April, there are night illuminations, allowing visitors to enjoy the beauty of the cherry blossoms under the enchanting glow of lanterns and bonfires. The park also features tea houses and stalls offering light snacks, drinks, and local delicacies, creating a bustling scene filled with flower-viewing tourists, truly a classic spring landscape in Japan.
