Umihotaru Seaside Park is a national park located in Higashi Ward, Fukuoka City. Surrounded by the sea, the vast area of approximately 350 hectares boasts a rich natural environment, with flowers blooming throughout the year. Within the park, the "Animal Forest" features playground facilities for young children and opportunities for close encounters with animals, making it a popular spot for families where even young children can have a great time. The most popular attraction in summer is the "SUNSHINE POOL," which includes six types of pools, such as water slides and a splash pool specifically for toddlers. Additionally, there is a large grassy square spanning 24 hectares, perfect for relaxing picnics on leisurely holidays. The park is also very suitable for cycling, with four "Cycling Centers" offering bike rental services, totaling 1,600 bikes. There is a wide variety of bike sizes available, from 14 inches to 26 inches, and electric assist bikes with child seats can also be rented. Along the cycling paths, visitors can enjoy beautiful views of the sea. Furthermore, the park features an aquarium called "Marine World Umihotaru," which showcases marine ecology in a way that is close to nature.
