Details
Washu Mountain is a representative attraction of Japan's first national park, "Setonaikai National Park." It is named because it resembles a bird of prey spreading its wings and is a well-known sightseeing spot and landmark in Okayama Prefecture. From the summit "Koshudake," which stands at 133 meters, visitors can enjoy the beauty of over 50 islands of various sizes floating in the Seto Inland Sea, as well as the spectacular view of the Seto Ohashi Bridge. The sunset view from the mountain is particularly beautiful and has been selected as one of the "Top 100 Sunsets in Japan." There are two observation decks on the mountain, located near the "Washu Mountain Rest Area" and the "Washu Mountain Visitor Center."
