The interior features elegant spaces, including a tea room that extends into the corridor, making it worthwhile just to stroll around and take a look. The signature dish is the famous grilled mackerel soba from Nagahama. In ancient times, the Hokuriku region, where Nagahama is located, had a custom called "Satsuki Mimai," where parents would send grilled mackerel to the families of their married daughters during the busy farming season. The "grilled mackerel soba" is a simple dish that combines grilled mackerel with soba noodles cooked together. The sweet, salty, and savory flavor of the grilled mackerel pairs excellently with the soba noodles that absorb the broth, making this traditional local dish from Nagahama worth trying. There is also a set meal that includes grilled mackerel sushi, which can be ordered according to personal preference.
