🍜 Yakitori Techanヤキトリてっちゃん

Located at the north exit of "Kichijoji" Station, the shopping street Kokorozukuri is home to about 100 stores, primarily restaurants and izakayas. In one corner of this shopping street is "Yakitori Techan" (ヤキトリてっちゃん), an izakaya that specializes in grilled chicken skewers, providing a place for dining and drinking. The interior decor was personally designed by Kengo Kuma, the architect of the New National Stadium.

The best-selling dish is grilled chicken skewers. There is a variety of skewered items on the menu, such as grilled vegetables and grilled lamb skewers. They offer various individual dishes, including stews and croquettes. The interior decor makes extensive use of recycled and repurposed materials.
