About Yoyogi Mini Horse Park
There is a park in Tokyo where you can experience interacting with mini horses.
Details
The small park "Shibuya Ward Mini Horse Park" near Meiji Jingu is an important spot where you can experience interacting with mini horses in the city center.
There is a "Grooming Time" where you can brush the mini horses, which takes place once on weekdays and twice on weekends and public holidays. There is also a "Carrot Time" where both adults and children can feed the mini horses carrots. However, the park does not provide carrots for "Carrot Time," so families wishing to participate should bring their own pre-cut carrot sticks.
In addition, there is an opportunity for children to ride mini horses. Children who are 85 cm tall and above, up to sixth grade, can participate in the "Lead Riding Experience," while children aged one to under three years can ride with a parent in the "Parent-Child Riding" experience. The weight limit for Parent-Child Riding is 75 kg, and there is a limit of 10 pairs per session. *Please note that "Parent-Child Riding" and "Lead Riding Experience" are not available in January, February, and from July to September. For more details, please check the official website.
Additionally, since mini horses have gentle personalities, please do not scare them while visiting the park.
