About AKEBONO Mountain Agricultural Park

The beautiful flowers of the four seasons covering the vast fields are a must-see!

Details

AKEBONO Mountain Agricultural Park features windmills and flower fields, showcasing beautiful flowers throughout the four seasons. It starts with cherry blossoms and tulips in spring, followed by around 300 hydrangeas blooming in early summer. In autumn, the garden, which spans approximately 2.2 hectares, is filled with beautiful cosmos in white, yellow, pink, and red, along with the particularly lovely violets that herald the arrival of winter. Notably, in addition to the cultivated varieties, wildflowers such as 京鹿子 (Kyōrakko) and wild jasmine scattered throughout the park are also beloved by visitors. In 2021, AKEBONO Mountain Agricultural Park opened the "AKEBONO Seaside Park." The park offers BBQ facilities that require no preparation, allowing visitors to enjoy BBQ with just their bare hands, along with authentic American-style grilled delicacies. There is also a farm dedicated to seasonal vegetables, where guests can enjoy BBQ while experiencing the joy of harvesting vegetables (1,000 yen for adults, 880 yen for elementary school students, and 550 yen for children under elementary school age). Additionally, the park regularly hosts a variety of activities such as workshops, free open lawns, tea parties, and natural craft exhibitions. The official website is updated with the latest information on events, so be sure to check it before your visit.
