Details

You can explore the Aichi Prefecture Aviation Industry Museum, located southwest of Nagoya Airport. It is set up using the former international terminal's apron. Inside the spacious museum, there are displays of airplanes and helicopters, and visitors can enter parts of the aircraft for a closer look. Among the exhibits is the YS-11, Japan's first domestically produced passenger aircraft that completed test flights at Nagoya Airport after the war. There is also a "Selection of Famous Aircraft" area showcasing 100 models of airplanes at a scale of 1:25, representing Japan's advanced aviation technology. The pilot and ground crew training experience classroom is very popular among children. Additionally, there is a café where visitors can enjoy curry rice or coffee while overlooking the airport. The rooftop also features an observation deck, providing a great view of aircraft takeoffs and landings.

There are comprehensive experience programs where you can try out the work of a pilot or ground maintenance staff. Foreign language services are available. The in-house tour introduction is available in English, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Korean, and Portuguese. When re-entering, please go to the 2nd floor and show your boarding ticket (admission ticket) to the staff.

Yes. It is located at the entrance on the second floor. It can be used for free (coin return type).

Can I take photos or record videos?

Please do not take photos of the films being screened in the hall; however, you are free to take photos of other things like airplanes. Additionally, please do not photograph airport facilities, such as the tarmac. To avoid obstructing the passage of visitors, the use of tripods and similar equipment is prohibited.
