About Amanohashidate View Land

You can enjoy a view of Amanohashidate, and there are various playground equipment available, allowing both adults and children to have fun together.

Details

Takahashi View Land is located at the top of Mount Monju and offers a panoramic view of Amanohashidate, one of Japan's three scenic views. Here, bending down to look through your legs at Amanohashidate resembles a dragon soaring into the sky, earning it the nickname "Flying Dragon View." The park features seven "under-the-legs viewing platforms" for visitors to enjoy the scenery, and from the 250-meter-long corridor, which reaches a maximum height of 8.5 meters, you can overlook Miyazu Bay and Amanohashidate, enjoying a 360-degree view. Additionally, the park offers various playground equipment for children, including a racetrack and a carousel. There are also facilities such as a Ferris wheel and a rail bike that allow you to enjoy the scenery while having fun. Furthermore, there is an archery range and retro shooting games, ensuring that adults can also have a great time. One popular attraction is the "Lucky Plate Toss," where if you pass through the Wheel of Wisdom, your wish will come true. The scenic restaurant features a terrace with umbrellas for relaxation. You can take a monorail to the top of the mountain, and on the way up, you can see the gradually revealing view of Amanohashidate. While descending, you can enjoy the sea view and, depending on the season, admire seasonal flowers such as cherry blossoms, crape myrtle, and wisteria, making it a highly recommended way to enjoy your visit.

Highlights

The view of Amanohashidate from the south is known as "Hiryūkan." It features observation points such as the "Underpass Viewing Platform" and the "Hiryūkan Corridor." There is an amusement park equipped with attractions like a racetrack and a carousel. The "Lucky Disc Toss," where you make a wish by throwing a ceramic disc, is quite popular. Riding the cable car or monorail to the mountain top is also a favored way to enjoy the area.
