📖 Details

To promote the local specialties and tourism charm of Aomori, the "Aomori Nebuta World Shimbashi Store" opened in 2018. Aomori not only boasts fresh seafood thanks to its three-sides surrounded by the ocean but also offers rich local products such as Aomori beef, SYAMOROCK chicken, and premium vegetables. This restaurant allows you to enjoy local delicacies made from Aomori's specialty ingredients, as well as local gourmet foods and drinks like "Oirase Beer," all without having to travel to Aomori. The menu features well-known delicious dishes from the region, such as "Towada Pork Belly Grilled," a soul food of Aomori Prefecture made with pork belly and onions paired with a sweet and spicy soy sauce, and "Scallop Grilled with Miso," made from scallops sourced from Mutsu Bay. Additionally, there are numerous dishes crafted from the rich vegetables nurtured by Aomori's natural landscape, including the traditional vegetable "Owani Onsen Bean Sprouts," which can grow up to 40 centimeters and were once offered as tribute by the Tsugaru feudal lord, as well as "Dake Kogen Corn," a brand of corn that is as sweet as fruit, and locally produced garlic and nagaimo (Japanese yam). Don't miss out on the diverse and unique apple sours, as well as the various sake produced by breweries throughout Aomori Prefecture.
