🗺️ Bentenmaru Sightseeing Boat遊覧船べんてん丸

The Enoshima Benten Bridge connects the entrance to Enoshima Island with the sightseeing boat at the western coastal erosion platform, Waka-chan no Fuchi. It takes about 30 minutes to walk between the two locations, but taking the sightseeing boat only takes 10 minutes, making it a convenient option for those who may struggle with walking. The sightseeing boat, Benten Maru, passes by numerous attractions, showcasing magnificent ocean views, steep cliffs, and lush greenery that create a beautiful contrast. On clear days, you can even see Mount Fuji in the distance. In addition to Waka-chan no Fuchi, there is a shrine believed to be the origin of Enoshima Shrine, the "Enoshima Iwaya" which enshrines the dragon god, the "Dragon Love Bell" which is associated with the legend of the celestial maiden and the five-headed dragon, attracting couples, and the "Enoshima Shrine" (Okitsu-miya) with its traditional irimoya-style shrine hall. Transportation to each viewpoint is also very convenient. Please note that boat schedules may change due to seasonal, weather, and tidal conditions, so be sure to check in advance.

The sightseeing boat connecting Bentenkyo Bridge and Chidori no Fuchi takes about 10 minutes. From the boat, you can enjoy the stunning contrast between the steep cliffs and lush greenery. It also provides convenient transportation to tourist attractions such as Enoshima Iwaya and Enoshima Shrine (Okutsumiya).
