🗺️ Castle Peak Park城峯公園

Castle Peak Park is built in the heart of "Shinzan," at an elevation of 500 meters. Within this park, there is a rare winter-blooming cherry blossom known as "fuyu-zakura" (冬桜). The blooming period for fuyu-zakura is from late autumn to early winter, earning it the nickname "October cherry." The pale pink double petals, combined with the surrounding red maple trees, create a breathtaking landscape. The park features an observation deck, which is a great spot for photographing the deep red maple trees alongside the pink fuyu-zakura. Notably, during the peak blooming period from late October to early December, a night illumination event is held, allowing visitors to enjoy a fantastical view that differs from the daytime scenery. The park also includes the "Castle Peak Park Campsite," "Rest House Castle Peak," and "BBQ House." After enjoying nature, visitors can indulge in delicious food or take a break. Additionally, every year on the last Sunday of October, the "Fuyu-zakura Festival" is held, attracting many tourists. During this period, there are promotional events selling various local specialties, as well as a lottery and other exciting activities.
