The "Sapporo Ramen Republic," themed around Hokkaido ramen, is located within the "ESTA Restaurant Street," operated by Sapporo Station Comprehensive Development Co., Ltd. Its purpose is to create a hall of Hokkaido ramen culture, exuding a retro atmosphere reminiscent of the Showa era, featuring numerous famous ramen shops from Hokkaido. There are well-known ramen shops from Sapporo such as "Shirakaba Sanso," "MISONO (みその)," "Yoshiyama Shoten," "Sora (空)," and "Kōmura," as well as "Baikōken" from Asahikawa, "Ajisai (味彩)" from Hakodate, and "Shodai" from Otaru. Each of these is a locally renowned ramen shop. Sapporo, Hakodate, and Asahikawa are known as the three major ramen bases in Hokkaido. Each region has its own distinct broth, allowing visitors to choose from a variety of unique ramen based on their mood of the day. Even if one is not traveling to these destinations, they can still enjoy the ramen from these areas here.

In a facility exuding the charm of the Showa era, a selection of carefully chosen ramen shops from Hokkaido has gathered. Within the facility, there are eight shops standing side by side, each one a highly renowned establishment.
