🍜 Dogo Beer Tavern道後麦酒館

The directly-operated "Dogo Brewery Tavern" is located across from the main building of Dogo Onsen. It is a popular spot for locals to enjoy a drink after soaking in "Dogo Onsen," known as the "oldest hot spring in Japan." The tavern offers four types of Dogo beer. There is a Kölsch beer, commonly referred to as "Shōya Beer," which is delivered directly from the brewery, as well as a German-style dark beer known as "Madonna Beer," a stout nicknamed "Sōseki Beer," and a wheat beer called "Mr. Noboru Beer." Additionally, there are limited edition beers available only at the brewery, local sake, and shōchū, making for an enticing variety. The food selection is also quite rich. It features famous fried fish cakes from Ehime Prefecture, locally known as "Senzanki (せんざんき)," and various dishes made from local specialties of Iyo Matsuyama. The tavern offers both tatami seating and counter seating, allowing guests to enjoy dinner after a soak in Dogo Onsen or have a drink in a relaxed atmosphere, catering to various dining needs.
