About Dragon King Ski Resort
Enjoy top-quality powder snow at the ski resort in Japan with the largest elevation difference.
Details
Ryuo Ski Resort has an elevation difference of 1,080 meters, from the summit at 1,930 meters to the base at 850 meters, making it the ski resort with the largest elevation drop in Japan. Visitors can enjoy high-altitude, fluffy, top-quality powder snow.
The gentle slopes at the summit are divided into two difficulty areas: the "Valley area" and the "Skyland area." The main ski area, the "Valley area," features the WIDE BAHN run, which is suitable for beginner skiers and families. In the "Skyland area," known for its unique dry powder snow typical of inland regions, there are more wooded sections, allowing for skiing on runs that are more thrilling and exciting than those in the Valley area. Additionally, the resort is famous for its 36-degree incline "Kibatsu Route," which offers challenging runs for advanced skiers, making it a major attraction for ski enthusiasts.
Near the summit, there is a high-end café restaurant called "SORA terrace cafe," where visitors can relax during breaks or enjoy lunch while skiing.
