Located about 4 kilometers from the foot of Mount Fuji, Lake Motosu offers the most beautiful views of Mount Fuji among the Fuji Five Lakes. The seasonal flowers, lakes, and the picturesque World Heritage Site of Mount Fuji enchant visiting tourists.
The most famous local event is the "Fuji Shibazakura Festival," held from mid-April to late May each year. With 500,000 shibazakura (moss phlox) blooming in vibrant pink and white colors, it creates a classic spring landscape resembling a floral carpet.
In early autumn, the "Rainbow Flower Festival" takes place. During this event, around 80,000 flowers, including zinnias and sage, bloom, and the park features photo spots where visitors can enjoy a beauty that is completely different from the spring "Fuji Shibazakura Festival."
Additionally, the park's "Peter Rabbit™ English Garden" includes a café, museum, and shop, making it the largest English garden in the Kanto region. Here, visitors can experience the world of "The Tale of Peter Rabbit."
