📝 Introduction

📖 Details

"Ginza Café Paulista" is located along Chuo-dori in Ginza 8-chome, near Shimbashi. This café was founded in the 44th year of the Meiji era (1911) and boasts a history of over 110 years, making it one of the notable establishments when discussing the roots of Japanese coffee culture. The founder is hailed as the "Father of Brazilian Immigrants," celebrated for his achievements in immigration policy. The café was established with the support of the São Paulo government in Brazil, showcasing a rich historical background. It became renowned thanks to the patronage of famous literary figures such as Akutagawa Ryunosuke, Yosano Akiko, and Takamura Kōtarō, as well as prominent individuals like Albert Einstein and John Lennon and his wife. The café's signature drink, "Mori no Coffee," is made from fully ripened coffee beans cultivated without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. To ensure quality and safety, beans are sourced directly from contracted farms in Brazil and Ethiopia. With a perfect balance of rich sweetness, intense flavor, and refreshing acidity, it's a remarkable brew that makes people want to drink it every day. In addition to beverages, there are light meals like sandwiches, quiches, and pancakes, as well as desserts such as cakes and coffee jelly available. While enjoying premium coffee in the nostalgic ambiance of the café, don't forget to appreciate its historical significance.
