The Yoshino Suspension Bridge was built in 1954 during the post-World War II reconstruction period, funded by local villagers to meet the needs of daily life. Surrounded by the majestic nature of the deep mountains, it is one of the longest wire suspension bridges in Japan. The bridge connects Uenoji and Tanise, stretching 297 meters in length and standing 54 meters above the ground. Today, the Yoshino Suspension Bridge has become a representative and well-known tourist attraction in Totsukawa Village. Walking on the bridge, visitors can enjoy the breathtaking view of the clear Totsukawa River flowing beneath. The beautiful nature and thrilling experience make it a highly recommended date spot. There is a parking lot and specialty shops nearby, making it a perfect place to visit along the way.
