🗺️ Hakone-en箱根園

Hakone-en is a large resort facility located by the shores of Lake Ashi. Within the park, there is the "Hakone Aquarium," famous for its Baikal seal and fish-feeding performances, a ropeway that targets the summit of Mount Hakone, and an amusement park called "Hug Me! ZOO!" where you can interact with adorable animals, along with many souvenir shops and restaurants. You can enjoy a full day of fun, from leisure activities to gourmet shopping. There are also many interesting activities available, such as riding various modes of transportation, including the Ninja Bus and motorboat. The Ninja Bus is a vehicle that can travel on both land and water, gliding smoothly across the lake's surface. The breathtaking views of Lake Ashi from the water are not to be missed. The motorboat takes you from the Hakone-en pier to the Kuzuryu Shrine located in Kuzuryu Forest, allowing you to enjoy the refreshing lake breeze while cruising on the water, which is very pleasant. Additionally, there are other enriching experiential facilities, such as a pottery painting experience where you can paint on cups and plates, and a workshop for making traditional Hakone marquetry coasters (requires a group of 10 or more and prior reservation). It is recommended to try creating your own unique souvenir.
