Ingredients such as vegetables, seafood, and eggs are placed in a bamboo basket, and with the assistance of staff, the basket is placed into the boiling "Jigoku Steam Pot" and then covered. The ingredients are steamed using saline hot spring steam, which locks in their natural flavors and has received high praise. There are various combinations of ingredients, such as the "Jigoku Steam Tamatebako," which includes seasonal vegetables, chicken, and meat buns, or the "Meat Set." The combinations of ingredients are quite rich.
