Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Nagoya is a large zoo and botanical garden where you can easily spend an entire day without seeing everything. It houses around 450 species of animals, including the zoo's superstar, the koala, and many other popular animals. The way the zoo is presented is quite unique, making the experience of visiting the animals enjoyable. For example, the "Asian Elephant House" is built in the style of the elephants' homeland, Sri Lanka, and is filled with exotic charm. There is also an educational display area where visitors can learn about the relationship between endangered elephants, humans, and their surrounding environment, allowing guests to gain knowledge while observing the animals. Additionally, themed exhibitions such as the "World Aquarium," which has the largest number of bluegills in the world, are also very interesting.
