If you walk along the trail towards 陣馬山 (Jinbam mountain), you will come across the famous "紅葉台" (Momijidai), known for its autumn leaves, and the charming tea house "細田屋" (Hosodaya). In this tea house, which greets visitors with its rustic appearance, you can not only taste the famous soba noodles of 高尾山 (Takaosan) but also enjoy dishes like slippery mushroom soup and oden. The slippery mushroom soup is the restaurant's classic dish, filled with soft mushrooms in a steaming hot miso soup, gently relaxing your tired body after hiking. Additionally, the miso oden drizzled with homemade miso is also quite popular. Many hikers turn back at the summit, but if you can walk a little further back, you will discover more of 高尾山's (Takaosan) new charms. It’s worth coming here to enjoy the mountain views while tasting the tea house's signature dishes.
