🗺️ Inokashira Park Zoo (井之頭自然文化園)井の頭自然文化園

Located within "井之頭恩賜公園" (Inokashira Park), the 井之頭自然文化園 (Inokashira Natural Cultural Garden) occupies one-third of the park's total area. This cultural garden is divided into two areas: the "動物園 (本園)" (Zoo Main Area), which features a zoo, a sculpture museum, and an information center, and the "水生物園 (分園)" (Aquatic Life Area), which showcases water birds and other aquatic animals. Together, these two areas are home to over 170 different species of animals. In the "松鼠小徑" (Squirrel Path) area, visitors can get up close and personal with freely-roaming squirrels. The 井之頭自然文化園 (Inokashira Natural Cultural Garden) also actively supports the conservation and breeding efforts for the endangered Nagasaki bobcat (長崎県山猫). The garden regularly holds bobcat shows.

Squirrel Path is a space where you can observe Japanese squirrels living freely. The "Aquatic Organisms Museum" allows you to get a close look at small animals like salamanders and frogs. You can enjoy amusement rides such as the carousel at the mini amusement park "Sports Land" within the park.
