About Iwashita Shingen Ginger Museum
The only one of its kind in the country! A unique museum designed around "ginger products."
Details
This unique museum is modeled after the long-selling product "Iwashita New Ginger," which was launched by Iwashita Foods in 1987. Visitors can learn about the story behind the product's creation and its delicious secrets, with free admission.
Upon entering the museum, the first thing that catches the eye is a photo spot featuring the packaging of New Ginger under a giant rock, making visitors feel as if they have become "New Ginger under the Rock." Another must-see photo opportunity is the "World's Largest New Ginger Head Under a Rock," which features a 5-meter tall headpiece, allowing visitors to experience the sensation of transforming into "New Ginger under the Rock." Additionally, there is the "New Ginger Room," a space filled with love where visitors can enjoy a romantic atmosphere alongside character figures of New Ginger. There is also the "Ginger Shrine," where one can emulate the warming effects of ginger to pray for love success and longevity, offering many interesting photo spots that will make you want to take pictures.
After exploring the museum, it is recommended to visit the café to experience "Iwashita New Ginger" firsthand. The dishes served at "CAFE NEW GINGER" are all made using "Iwashita New Ginger." From main courses like "Iwashita New Ginger Pork Roll Meal - Ethnic Flavor Sauce" and "Iwashita New Ginger Pizza" to desserts like "Iwashita New Ginger Soft Serve" and "Pink Ginger Soda," there is a wide variety of options available. Additionally, since "Iwashita New Ginger" is served as an all-you-can-eat option, adding extra ingredients is no problem.
