📝 Introduction

A zoo where you can observe and touch animals up close, enjoyable for both adults and children.

📖 Details

Izu Cactus Animal Park has planted about 1,500 species of cacti and succulents from around the world and houses approximately 140 species of animals. The greenhouse in the park cultivates cacti, succulents, and forest cacti that inhabit four regions: Mexico, Madagascar, South America, and Africa. If you're lucky, you might also see cactus flowers. The park's "Cactus Collection Workshop" offers planting experience activities and sells various cacti and succulents. After the experience, visitors can choose to purchase their favorite cactus or pot. The animals living in the park, such as squirrel monkeys and peacocks, are free-range, allowing for interaction with them at various locations throughout the park. In the large pond at the center of the park, visitors can take a boat tour guided by animals and enjoy the fun of feeding the animals. Among the attractions at Izu Cactus Animal Park, the adorable capybara is the most popular. The winter-exclusive event "Original Capybara Outdoor Hot Springs," featuring capybaras, is particularly well-loved. Additionally, at the "Capybara Rainbow Square," visitors can interact with capybaras or experience feeding them.
