Upon getting off at the Joetsu International Ski Resort Station on the JR Joetsu Line, you will be greeted by the vast expanse of the ski resort, which boasts convenient transportation and a variety of ski slopes as its main attractions. The resort consists of 22 ski trails across 4 areas. There is the "Mother's Zone," which features gentle slopes and wide trails, making it suitable for beginners and families, and the "Activ Zone," which has a maximum slope of 38 degrees and includes off-piste areas, catering to advanced skiers. The distribution of trails ranges from beginner to advanced levels, ensuring that all visitors can enjoy skiing. Additionally, there are numerous services and facilities dedicated to children, including dual and single snowboard classes for kids and teens, as well as the "Kis Paradise," a snow play area for young children who cannot ski yet, making it an ideal place for first-time snow enthusiasts. Next to the Joetsu International Ski Resort Station, the same-day round-trip ski center offers restaurants, natural hot springs, and convenient rentals for Salomon ski equipment and clothing for hands-free skiing. Night skiing is available on weekdays, and various exciting activities are held on weekends.
