Kamakura Komachi Street starts from the east exit of Kamakura Station, marked by a red torii gate, and extends about 360 meters north. This area is one of the key attractions in Kamakura, bustling with activity throughout the year. After the completion of underground power lines in 2013, the narrow street feels even more refreshing. Just a 3-minute walk from the Enoden "Kamakura" Station, Komachi Street is surrounded by abundant nature with mountains and the sea, featuring many historical and cultural sites, making it a base for sightseeing in Kamakura. There are different attractions to enjoy in every season, and the high percentage of repeat visitors indicates its popularity as a tourist destination. Walking through Komachi Street and turning right leads to the approach to "Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine," lined with cherry blossom trees. In recent years, Komachi Street has become a treasure trove for those seeking delicious food and desserts. Many shops offer exclusive products available only on Komachi Street.
