Facing the Sea of Japan, the aquarium offers a sense of openness and various activities related to the ocean. Daily performances are held, and there are unique experiences such as enjoying the bamboo fish you catch on-site, along with many other facilities not found elsewhere. Kinosaki Marine World is most famous for its 10 signature shows. Against the backdrop of the Sea of Japan, the "Dolphin and Sea Lion Show" features powerful performances, while the "Northern Sea Lion Diving" showcases sea lions diving from steep rocky cliffs. The adorable "Penguin Walk" is also held daily, where you can see penguins waddling cutely. Additionally, there are activities like "Fish Dance," where you can observe the amazing behaviors of fish and even participate in feeding them. Aside from the aforementioned facilities, another popular activity in the park is "Fishing Bamboo Fish," where you can enjoy the bamboo fish you catch on-site. Using fishing rods provided by the park, you can catch bamboo fish, which will then be prepared as tempura for you to enjoy right there. (A fishing rod with bait costs 660 yen, and the tempura processing fee is 60 yen per fish.)
