This 82-meter tall tower is designed to resemble a sailboat, with the tower itself shaped like a sail. The second and third floors feature indoor observation decks, while the rooftop has a marine deck that offers panoramic views of the Kouri Bridge stretching straight into the emerald green sea, as well as the landscapes of the island and the main island. On the marine deck, visitors can enjoy the sea breeze and experience an open feeling akin to being at the bow of a large cruise ship, while the indoor observation levels provide picturesque views through large glass windows. The facility also includes other noteworthy attractions. There is a "Shell Museum" that collects 1,500 varieties and over 10,000 shells from around the world, and the "Kouri Historical Museum" that displays historical materials about the island. The restaurant, which specializes in Neapolitan pizza made fresh after ordering, boasts unbeatable views, along with a shop that features a dessert workshop. Visitors can take an autonomous golf cart to the ocean tower, passing through a tropical garden filled with unique Okinawan plants such as ferns and cycads, while an audio guide introduces the history and attractions of Kouri Island during the ride.
