The art museum located on the 3rd floor of the multi-purpose building "BIPURESU Kumamoto" in the center of Kumamoto City. Familiar exhibitions and various artistic feasts provide a leisure space in the city.
In the free space known as the "Home Gallery," visitors can freely read numerous art books and comics. At the same time, it is surrounded by the light art of James Turrell and the bookshelves of Marina Abramović, creating a relaxing space enveloped by artworks. Additionally, works by renowned domestic and international artists are integrated throughout the building.
The museum also features an exhibition room where visitors can freely view collections, a "Town Parenting Plaza" for parents and children to enjoy picture books and toys, and a diverse museum shop, making it an art museum that is easy to approach and engage with art.
