The permanent theater of Yoshimoto Kogyo, a major talent agency in Japan, is located on the 7th floor of the commercial building "Shinjuku LUMINE2," which is very close to the South Exit of JR Shinjuku Station. The theater has 458 seats, making it the largest capacity in Eastern Japan. Here, you can watch performances by champions and finalists of comedy competitions such as the "M-1 Grand Prix" and "R-1 Grand Prix," as well as shows by many well-known television personalities. There are 2 to 3 performances of manzai and short plays every day. On weekends and public holidays, a luxurious lineup featuring both promising newcomers and experienced veterans gathers to present unique comedies that delight a wide audience. Additionally, there are occasional solo performances and live projects by famous artists. Moreover, the attached souvenir shop offers a wide variety of artist-related merchandise, and you can enter the shop without purchasing a ticket, making it convenient to pick up souvenirs while sightseeing in Shinjuku.
