Meijo Park is a comprehensive park covering an area of approximately 80 hectares. The flower plaza in the park includes a bright courtyard and sunlit cottages, where various exhibitions related to flowers and greenery are often held. Additionally, there is a café where visitors can enjoy afternoon tea surrounded by colorful seasonal flowers. In Oofunai Pond, irises, swallowtail flowers, and lotus flowers bloom together, creating a charming Japanese atmosphere. From the iris garden, looking southwest, you can see the main keep of Nagoya Castle, making it a perfect spot for photography. Moreover, the complex facility "tonarino," located facing Otsu Street, is also a noteworthy attraction. Hours / Holidays
Open all year round. The Meijo Park Flower Plaza is closed on Mondays (or the following weekday if it is a national holiday), on the third Wednesday of each month (or the fourth Wednesday if it is a national holiday), and from December 29 to January 3.
