🍜 Namikian

📝 Introduction

Offering creative and exclusive local shops for Soba noodles and Udon noodles.

📖 Details

Located near Nishifu Station in Fuchu City, Tokyo, this soba noodle shop has been in operation for over fifty years. The soba noodles are made with stone-ground buckwheat flour, hand-crafted every morning, and are fragrant, allowing you to taste the original flavor of the buckwheat. Only domestically produced buckwheat flour is used, with different regions selected according to the season; you can confirm the origin of the buckwheat flour used that day with the staff. The recommended dish is the "Musashi Fuchu Kofun Tendon," priced at 1,550 yen for a single order, or a set that includes either soba or udon noodles for 1,880 yen. This tendon features large shrimp and seasonal vegetables from Fuchu, served hot in an iron pot, and is uniquely enjoyed by drizzling the tempura dipping sauce over it after it is served. The name of the dish and the shape of the tableware are inspired by the precious ancient tomb "Jouen Geppou Tomb," which was excavated near the shop. Additionally, there are creatively designed dishes such as the "Darkness Curry Udon," inspired by the "Kurayami Matsuri" of the Okunitama Shrine's annual festival, along with many other inventive offerings. Besides soba noodles, udon noodles, and rice bowls, a variety of alcoholic beverages are also available.
