🗺️ Ninja Weapons Museum忍者武器ミュージアム

Nestled in a corner of the vibrant "Nishi Chaya Street," where beautiful geishas weave through, stands a private museum themed around ninjas, housed in a renovated machiya building that is over a hundred years old. This is the only ninja-themed private museum in Ishikawa Prefecture. The museum displays over 160 exhibits of medieval weapons used by ninjas in ancient times, including about 50 different types of items. Among them are shurikens and various locking weapons commonly seen in ninja movies, as well as heavy armor and other equipment. Many of the weapons originate from Japan, and viewing these exhibits up close takes you back to the tumultuous history of the warring states. In the shuriken throwing area, visitors can experience throwing the "Kusarigama," a windmill-shaped multi-blade shuriken, and the "Bō Shuriken," a short iron rod with sharp spikes at the end. Children are also welcome to participate. Nearby, "Myouryu-ji" is nicknamed the Ninja Temple. Plan to visit both attractions together to fully immerse yourself in the secret world of ninjas.
