Do you offer foreign language services? (If so, please let me know which languages are available.)
Foreign language services are not available within the peninsula. However, at the "Oga Shinzan Heritage Hall" and "Namahage Museum," communication can be facilitated using tablets (in English, Chinese, and Korean).
Can you re-enter each facility?
Yes. However, the Oga Shinzan Folklore Museum is limited to one visit only. Additionally, the "Oga Aquarium" and "Nyudozaki Lighthouse" cannot be re-entered.
Do the facilities have free Wi-Fi?
Wi-Fi is only available at the "Seibokugikan" (生剝鬼館).
Is there a coin-operated locker?
There are coin-operated lockers at "男鹿" Station.
Please inform me about the frequency of trains or buses?
To get from Akita Station to Oga Station, please use the Oga Line, which has only one train per hour. The bus service is also infrequent. About a 5-minute walk from the station, there are "Oga Car Rental" and "Oga Bicycle Rental." Alternatively, you can use the "Oga Shared Taxi," which requires advance reservation.
Are there hot spring facilities?
About a 20 to 30-minute drive away is the "Oga Onsen" area, famous for its "Bijin-yu" (beauty hot springs). There are six ryokans (traditional Japanese inns) in the region. If you make a reservation in advance, they also offer free pick-up and drop-off services.
