🎨 Restaurant Gallery
📝 Introduction
A Japanese café where you can taste freshly made rice balls and handmade side dishes.
📖 Details
The Onigiri Café Risaku, located near Sendagi Station, offers rice balls made with traditional kamado cooking, carefully shaped one by one, along with handmade side dishes.
The rice used is Koshihikari rice sourced directly from contracted farms in Gunma Prefecture. Each batch is cooked in small quantities multiple times, ensuring that you can enjoy rice balls made from freshly cooked rice at any time. Paired with salt extracted from Okinawa's deep seawater and seaweed from Ariake, the rice balls have a soft and moist texture, perfectly shaped. The café is also particular about the origin of its ingredients, offering seafood from various regions in Japan, mentaiko from Fukuoka, and plums from Kishu Tanabe, with around 30 different flavors of rice balls available at any time.
In the morning and lunchtime, various set meals are offered, which include a rice ball and miso soup or other soups. From 11 AM to 8 PM, there are customizable sets where you can choose side dishes, soups, and 3 to 4 types of small dishes. It is recommended to order a rice ball of your choice to enjoy with these accompaniments. In addition to enjoying the food in the serene atmosphere of the café, rice balls, side dishes, and soups are also available for takeout.
