The suspension bridge is 180 meters above sea level, 280 meters long, and has a height of 50 meters, making it the largest man-made suspension bridge in Japan. The city of Katano, where the bridge is located, is known as the legendary Tanabata Village, and as a symbol of the star-falling village, it has been affectionately nicknamed "Star Swing" by the local people. Crossing the bridge offers a magnificent view of the forest, showcasing the beauty of all four seasons. Although it is a well-constructed suspension bridge, it does sway, providing an exhilarating experience while crossing.
