The comprehensive electrical appliance manufacturer Panasonic has renovated its corporate museum in celebration of its 100th anniversary. The museum consists of the "Konosuke Matsushita Museum," the "Manufacturing Path Exhibition Hall," and "Sakura Square."
The "Konosuke Matsushita Museum" focuses on revisiting the 94-year life of the founder, Konosuke Matsushita. Through numerous precious materials, visitors can understand Matsushita's words and thoughts, reflecting on his management philosophy and worldview. The "Manufacturing Path Exhibition Hall" displays a total of 550 home appliance products from the company's founding to the present. At the entrance, the company's first product welcomes visitors, and there is also a real model of the Ultrasonic Bath, which amazed the world when it debuted at the 1970 Osaka World Expo, allowing guests to experience Panasonic's manufacturing spirit through six major themes.
Covering an area of 16,200 square meters, "Sakura Square" features 190 Somei Yoshino cherry trees, making it exceptionally beautiful during the cherry blossom season in spring and the autumn foliage period. It is a popular recreational spot loved by the public.
